The Village Green Perennial Nursery will be open this Friday, November 23rd, from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
As thanksgiving arrives and “super Black Friday sale” ads seem to be coming from every direction, we’re presented with a great opportunity to choose to shop local and support our community’s artists and small businesses.
This week, add the Village Green to your Black Friday shopping itinerary. A Village Green gift certificate makes a perfect stocking stuffer, and our handmade glass accessories add festivity to any garden.
We have handmade glass lollipops from Bedrock, spires by Sean Welch, iron garden signs, and whimsical hand-hammered garden stakes made by Vera herself:
We also offer Village Green T-shirts and hooded sweatshirts for both kids and adults!
So stop on by this Friday and continue your thanksgiving celebrations with the Village Green.

Village Green will be closed this Saturday, the 24th, because Vera will be planting flowers in White Center in commemoration of a beloved community member, Margaret Ryan.

We could use your help! Volunteers are more than welcome to meet us between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on November 24th on the corner of Roxbury Street and 16th Avenue (in front of Soul’s Kitchen). If possible, please bring work gloves and any other tools you think might come in handy.See this White Center Blog post for more information:
